About Us – I’m Carol Aplin and I’m the founder of Pink&Green. I started my organic skincare company in 2014 after working for many years as an holistic therapist.
During my years as a practising therapist I taught my clients the importance of making time for themselves and paying attention to their skin, to listen to what it was telling them and to act upon that.
Pink&Green products use natural ingredients that aren’t tested on animals.
It’s my firm belief that what you put on your skin should help you to both look and feel wonderful. I’ve woven this ethos of self-care throughout my entire range of organic skin care products.
A brief history of me
Here’s a brief history of me –I think you’ll get some idea from this of what drives me.
“I was born in Kenley, Surrey. As you can see from the picture of me as a little girl, I grew up surrounded by beautiful countryside.
The nearby beech woods were full of the fragrance of bluebells in the spring and the cornfields took on a golden glow in mid-summer. It’s hardly surprising that nature for me wins my widest smile.
I now live near the Ridgeway path close to the Marlborough Downs, with the historic town of Avebury close by. It’s a fabulous location from which to enjoy Wiltshire’s natural wonders.
Nature’s gifts inspire me and thus they’re integral to my organic skincare range.
Why Pink&Green?
I chose pink to represent women and green as a motif for the environment. My passion for creating natural organic skincare and my affinity with nature inspired me to create a range of products for bath, body and face to encourage you to feel ‘hello gorgeous’ every day!
In listening to hundreds of women tell me their stories, I’ve gained a privileged insight into the outcomes they want for themselves.
What we can forget to do, is find ourselves in all that and give this important aspect of ‘self’ sufficient quality time. But I want you to enjoy some quality time – even if you only have five minutes a day to yourself!
Empathy
Through my understanding of how women wish to feel about themselves, I looked for a way to offer regular, positive reinforcement of these values. Skincare created with love and care is what I decided upon.
The first thing I created was the Pink&Green organic facial skincare ritual. I formulated it from nature – no harsh chemicals here.

Our luxurious products combine natural essential oil blends, with specialist carrier oils. They perform beautifully, while balancing both mind and body.
We source all our own natural ingredients in a responsible way. And we hand-make all our range in small batches, with much love and care, in our Wiltshire studio.
